Am I, a mature adult and mother, embarrassed to admit that I am a big fan of a dragon book series aimed at middle schoolers? Heck no, I am not. In fact, kids’ books are often the most free to play with weird ideas and spin them out as far as they can go. I can’t get enough of the world Tui Sutherland has built for her dragons, with seemingly endless supplies of imagination for new kinds and tonal differences to show their personalities. The gorgeous illustrations for the covers by Joy Ang bring their lush worlds to life. In celebration of these creative souls, here are a few yoga poses to help us embody our inner dragons.
